5月6日（本周四）下午16:20，汪宏讲席教授将在第一科研楼报告厅为大家带来《现代科技与家国情怀》特色思政课第二期第八讲——《积跬步至千里》，欢迎全校师生前来聆听。

主讲人简介：

汪宏，南方科技大学工学院党委书记、副院长，材料科学与工程系讲席教授。曾任西安交通大学二级教授、研究生院副院长。现任中国硅酸盐学会理事，亚洲电子陶瓷联盟主席，IEEE超声铁电与频率控制学会Women-In-Engineering主席，IEEE国际铁电委员会委员等。汪宏教授长期从事电子信息材料与器件的应用基础研究，曾获教育部提名国家自然科学奖一等奖和陕西省科学技术奖二等奖。获国家杰出青年科学基金资助，入选教育部特聘教授、国家第二批“万人计划”、国务院政府特殊津贴专家、全国女职工建功立业标兵等，2020年当选国际电气与电子工程师学会会士（IEEE Fellow）。

Speaker:

Wang Hong, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of the School of Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, and a Chair Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. She once served as a Second-class Professor and Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Xi 'an Jiaotong University. Currently she is a Director of the Chinese Ceramic Society, the Chairman of the Asian Electronic Ceramics Alliance, the Chairman of the Women-In-Engineering IEEE Ultrasonic Ferroelectric and Frequency Control Society, and a member of the IEEE International Ferroelectric Committee. Professor Wang Hong has long been engaged in basic research on the application of electronic information materials and devices, and was nominated by the Ministry of Education for the First Prize of the National Natural Science Award and the Second Prize of the Shaanxi Science and Technology Award. Granted by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, she was selected as a Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education, the second batch of the National “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, an expert with special government allowances from the State Council, and a National Female Employee Achievement Model. In 2020, she was elected a Fellow of the International Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Fellow.
