4月1日（本周四）下午16:20，鲁春讲席教授将在第一科研楼报告厅为大家带来《现代科技与家国情怀》特色思政课第二期第五讲——《穷人经济学与精准扶贫》，欢迎全校师生前来聆听。
 
主讲人简介：
鲁春，力学与航天航空系讲席教授，南方科技大学副校长、总务长，联合国教科文组织​高等教育创新中心副主任，南方科技大学伦敦国王学院联合医学院筹建办公室主任。1984年北京大学本科毕业、新加坡国立大学博士。曾任新加坡特许工业首席工程师；新加坡高性能计算研究院高级研究员、大尺度复杂问题研究部主任；新加坡国立大学和南洋理工大学兼职教授；沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学校长助理、亚太区合作部主任、国际项目部主任等。2015年回国入职南方科技大学。

Lu Chun, a Chair Professort, will bring you the 5th lecture of "Modern Technology and Patriotism" at 16:20 on April 1(this Thursday).
The lecture will be located at Auditorium of Research Building 1 . All are welcome!
Speaker:
Lu Chun, a Chair Professor of the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, is the  Vice President and General Secretary of Southern University of Science and Technology, the Deputy Director of the UNESCO Higher Education Innovation Center as well as the Director of the   Preparation Office for the Joint Medical School of Southern University of Science and Technology and King's College London. He graduated from Peking University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree and later got a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore. He served as Chief Engineer of Singapore Chartered Industries, Senior Researcher of Singapore Institute of High Performance Computing, Director of Research Department of Large-scale Complex Issues and Adjunct Professor of National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. He worked as the Assistant to the President of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology as well as Asia-Pacific Cooperation Department Director and Director of International Project Department. In 2015, he returned to China and joined Southern University of Science and Technology.
