主讲人简介：

宋轩博士，2010年在北京大学获得博士学位，2010-2019年在日本东京大学任职博士后研究员，特任助理教授，特任副教授和副教授。2019年入职南方科技大学，目前是国家重点研发计划项目负责人，日本国家卓越研究员，“南方科技大学-东京大学超智慧城市联合研究中心”执行主任。他的主要研究方向为人工智能相关领域，包括大数据分析、数据挖掘和城市计算等。基于在“城市智能化管理”的学术贡献，2022年获得了中华人民共和国驻日本国大使赏（自然科学领域成就奖，唯一获奖人）。在过去10年间，他在计算机领域知名的国际期刊和会议上发表各类论文120余篇，其中发表在JCR一区或中国计算机协会推荐的A类期刊会议论文80余篇，发表学术专著一部，申请国内国际专利90余项，获得中国发明创业奖（个人奖），中国发明创新奖二等奖，中国产学研合作促进会创新奖（个人奖）。过去10年间，作为项目负责人（PI）承担各类科研项目，合同总金额超过4000万元人民币，相关研究成果产生了巨大的社会和经济效益，帮助政府和社会减少了难以估算的经济财产损失和人员伤亡。他的研究成果也被联合国“全球脉动”、探索频道、学习强国平台、人民周刊、中国科学报、中国改革报、中国网、中华网、科技日报等重点报道。

Speaker:

Dr. Song Xuan received his Ph.D. from Peking University in 2010. From 2010 to 2019, he was a postdoctoral researcher, special assistant professor, special associate professor and associate professor at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He joined the Southern University of Science and Technology in 2019 and is currently the project leader of the National Key R&D Program, a Japanese National Outstanding Researcher, and the Executive Director of the "Southern University of Science and Technology-Tokyo University Joint Research Center for Super Smart Cities". His mainly engages in research of artificial intelligence, including big data analysis, data mining, and urban computing. Based on his academic contributions in "Intelligent Urban Management", he won the Ambassador Award of the People's Republic of China to Japan in 2022 (Achievement Award in the Field of Natural Sciences, the only winner). In the past 10 years, he has published more than 120 papers of various types in well-known international journals and conferences in the computer field, including more than 80 conference papers in JCR District 1 or Class A journals recommended by the China Computer Federation. He has published one academic monograph and has applied for over 90 domestic and international patents. He won the China Invention and Entrepreneurship Award (individual award), the second prize of the China Invention and Innovation Award, and the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association Innovation Award (individual award). In the past 10 years, as the project leader (PI), he has undertaken various scientific research projects with a total contract value of more than 40 million yuan. The relevant research results have produced huge social and economic benefits, helping the government and society to reduce incalculable economic and property losses and casualties. His research results have also been reported by the United Nations "Global Pulse", Discovery Channel, Learning Power Platform, People's Weekly, China Science News, China Reform News, China Net, CHINA-US, Science and Technology Daily, etc.
